Made in DC: Put Your Business on the Map

May 2, 2017

The Washington DC Economic Partnership recently released an interactive map of Made in DC businesses, and you know what was missing? Your business!

Despite a growing number of homegrown enterprises, not a single Tenleytown business appears on the map. And you may be missing out on key business development resources as a result.

Made in DCMade in DC provides free networking, training, promotional, and resource-sharing opportunities for businesses driving the District’s maker and creative economy – from food and beverage to apparel and crafts to professional services.

  • Is your primary office or business located in DC?
  • Do you have a DC business license?
  • Are the majority of your owners and/or employees District residents?
  • Is a significant percentage of your products or services designed, produced, assembled, or manufactured from intellectual property, ingredients, raw materials, or other components derived from the District of Columbia?

Then you may be eligible for the free Made in DC program offered by the Department of Small and Local Business Development. Find out more, including how easy it is to apply for membership, at http://www.thisismadeindc.com/membership/

And let’s put Tenleytown businesses on the map!
