Description

PARK(ing) Day is an annual, global event in which citizens turn metered parking spaces into public spaces for one day to show how streets can be designed as places for people to congregate and form connections. The annual pop-up park is part of TMS' campaign to better maintain and activate green and public spaces within the Main Street area.

Come sit a spell, play a lawn game, or bring the kids for crafts, and reimagine public spaces in our community.

We will create a temporary mini-park in two metered parking spaces at 4101 Albemarle St. The Tenleytown PARK(ing) Day park will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Come join us!
