“Art Of A Woman” at the BOLD Center celebrates women makers and creators and the depiction of the feminine in diverse art forms. ARTISTS ON DISPLAY:

Laura Aikman: Painting and photography merge together in a colorful exhibit. 

Kathleen Brenowitz: Art and illustration depicting the fantastic world of graphic novels

Erika Cleveland: Sculpted, transformative healing dolls, ranging from a foot tall to life size, that celebrate change for women in transition.

Shawn Hart: Artwork inspired by legendary dancer, singer, and actress Josephine Baker. Shawn will also be live sketching and creating greeting cards onsite.

Jamie Jazell: Portraiture and fine art photography

Karin Law: Paintings that connect on a deeper level than what meets the eye and take people out of their comfort zone to fully embrace the creative composition and content.

Terry Pellmar:  Digital art and mixed media

Kara S. Rice: Mixed media and acrylic pieces that emphasize the importance of women and life

Ania Siniuk: Paintings and drawings that mix of guoache and digital techniques. Ania will also be live painting outside the BOLD Center.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:

7:30-8:15 pm    Taal Academy of Dance performs Bollywood, folk, and classical dances

8:30-9:30 pm    Joy of Motion Dance Center‘s award winning Youth Dance Ensemble Company performs original modern dance works and improvisation. These exceptional high school aged dancers have a strong voice which will be heard, through movement, during this thought provoking, passionate performance.

9:30-10:30 pm Caroline Weinroth, of the band Cinema Hearts, performs haunting vocals that soar over electric guitar
