Formerly Was is an independent art gallery in Tenleytown, a historic neighborhood in Washington, DC. The 740 square foot gallery, housed at ArtFolio Art Studio & Framing, promotes the works of emerging, mid-career, and established artists. The exhibition schedule features contemporary, conceptual, and representational artwork ranging in media to include painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, collage, video, photography, and multimedia.
