Description

Tenley WinterFest is an eight-day celebration of the holiday season that showcases local businesses, community groups, and our neighborhood – all with a unique Tenleytown flair and our famous Tenley Yeti. Now in its 9th year, TMS is adapting this seasonal tradition to our COVID realities and bringing some much-needed holiday cheer to our Main Street. 

What began more than a decade ago as a small student craft market has grown into a celebration of the holiday season in Tenleytown. More than 30 businesses and community groups join together annually to host WinterFest events.

Tenley WinterFest events are free, fun for all ages, and social distancing approved.

* WinterFeast, Tenleytown's own restaurant week, featuring special offers at more than a dozen restaurants. Dine-in or carry-out, whichever you prefer!

* Yeti Hunt along Wisconsin Avenue with trivia and fun tasks for all ages to enjoy while keeping socially distant

* Festive storefront window displays

* Shop small on Small Business Saturday, November 28! Support Tenleytown’s small and local businesses all day and throughout the holiday season.

* Historic Walking Tour of Tenleytown in partnership with the Tenleytown Historical Society - enjoy virtually or download a guide to take with you

* Virtual Yeti Marketplace where you can support your favorite Winter Market vendors this year by shopping online

* Special offers, events, and promotions at area businesses
