Description

Get creative with DC Open Streets! On Saturday, November 5 from 10:30am to 12:30pm, stop by the St. Ann DC tent to make a card for a veteran. Our service members have given us so much; let's show them some love. We will provide all the supplies: Just bring your creativity!

Also, if you've never stepped foot inside St. Ann's Church, or you just want to take a closer look, the church will be open for guided and self-guided tours during these same hours.

More than 10,000 people are anticipated to participate in Open Streets Wisconsin Avenue, bringing a lot of foot traffic and potential customers.

The final Open Streets of the year takes place on Ward 3’s Wisconsin Avenue, where one mile will be closed to cars and open to people to bike, walk, scoot, and play in a reimagining of public space. Explore all the amenities that Friendship Heights and Tenleytown have to offer and be sure to participate!

Popular programming will return this fall, including arts and crafts, live music, safety demonstrations, and more. The event is free and suitable for people of ALL ages and abilities.

No cars, just people.
