Description

In recognition of Earth Weekend, the Georgetown Day School Student Action Committee is running a city-wide Eco-Market Day to promote healthy and sustainable living, geared toward people of all ages. Located at Georgetown Day School (4200 Davenport St. NW), the event will take place from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, April 23. Several student-run stalls will cover the central street through campus, from a composting tutorial booth to a voter registration table to a hands-on art advocacy station to a clothing swap with other teen environmental groups and so much more, as well as a food stall from our local Number 1 Sons pickled and fermented foods business! Bring everyone you know to join; see you there!
