Create a grounded presence which flows naturally into a meditative state with Emily from the Center for Mindful Living. By moving with awareness and focusing on the breath, you can release tension and activate energy that enhances your Meditation. The class will include 6 movements of the spine, a breathing exercise to center and a walking meditation. There will also be a brief guided meditation.
Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a pillow or blanket and mat to sit on. All levels of skill are welcome. Some chairs will be available for those who prefer to meditate on a chair.
Recommended donation $10 – all proceeds support programming and maintenance of the park by the Friends of Fessenden Park. The all-volunteer Friends of Fessenden Park is a committee of Tenleytown Main Street that seeks to revitalize the park as a community gathering place for all ages.
