Make Music Day

June 21, 2017

Make Music Day is an international celebration of the summer solstice and live music, taking place in nearly 700 cities and 120 countries across the globe – and right here in Tenleytown! The festival celebrates free, live music performances held outdoors at public parks and local businesses, providing opportunities for community members of all ages to interact with and create music.

Thank you to all the musicians who shared their talents in Tenleytown for Make Music Day 2017, the local businesses that hosted performances, and the volunteers who made it all happen. We hope you enjoyed celebrating the longest day of the year from our special place at the Top of the Town. Click the Photos tab for pictures from this year’s event.

And stay tuned for information on Make Music Day 2018…

Thank you to our generous sponsors for their support of Make Music Day 2017!
