Description

October 16 is World Food Day, created by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the impacts of climate change, and rising prices and inflation, more people than ever are facing food insecurity around the world and in our local communities. But through innovation and sustainable solutions, we can combat the issue of hunger across the globe. SIS professor Johanna Mendelson Forman will lead a panel discussion on this critical topic, and experts will provide local, national, and global perspectives of the hunger crisis and possible solutions for the future. An audience Q&A will follow the discussion.
