Tenleytown Main Street has partnered with Chase Bank to offer a free, monthly business education series. Tailored to small businesses, these business chats will provide advice, tips, and guidance from knowledgeable business experts. Mark your calendars for these upcoming sessions:

March 10: Business Basics: Cash Flow and Credit

Cash Flow and Credit will focus on the 5 keys to credit (capacity, character, capital, collateral, and conditions). The session will provide context on how credit influences the lending process, including the nuts and bolts of credit reports and credit scores. It will also touch on lending solutions and the processes to acquire capital.

April 14: Preventing Payment Fraud

Learn what to look for and how to prevent payment fraud. This session will go over the most common fraud situations business owners face as well as cyber fraud threats (email compromise, phishing, social engineering, and malware). Most importantly, you'll learn tools you can use to prevent these threats.

May 12: Cyber-security & Business Resiliency

This session includes information on how cyber-security and natural disasters impact small businesses. Learn about new and different types of threats and identify how planning ahead can protect your business from risk and loss.
