There are just a few more weeks left to submit your Small Business Grant proposal! Applications are due on Tuesday, April 7. This is an easy grant application for up to $5,000 for improvements to your business and is limited to businesses in our corridor. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out for support before the upcoming deadline.

THE 2026 SMALL BUSINESS GRANT

Invest in Your Space. Grow Your Business. Deadline: April 7.

FY26 Residential Energy Contractor Support Grant

Amount: Up to $50,000

Deadline: April 1, 2026 (2:00 PM)

DSLBD is seeking District-based businesses to deliver targeted development training and back-office support to green energy program participants. Funds can be used for business expenses directly related to providing these training services.

Amber Grant for Women

Amount: $10,000 (Monthly) + $50,000 (Annual)

Deadline: Rolling (End of each month)

One $10,000 grant is awarded to a woman-owned business every month. In March, they are also offering a specific $10,000 Food & Beverage category grant. All monthly winners are eligible for a $50,000 year-end grant.

Celebrating Women’s History Month!

March serves as an opportunity to recognize the impact of women-owned businesses, which currently accounts for over 40% of enterprises in the District. These businesses contribute significantly to the economic stability and character of the Tenleytown corridor and the city at large. This month provides a dedicated space to highlight their professional achievements and the ongoing growth of women-led ventures in our community.
