Tenleytown Main Street is excited to present TenleyFest on June 1st, from 3-5 pm. This music and art event is meant to bring our community to the Tenleytown corridor to visit our small businesses. Please contact me if you are interested in offering a store discount on that day to help increase foot traffic into your business.

License and Permit Renewals are Due!

Action Required! Renewal Deadline
The Department of Consumer Protection and Licensing (DLCP formerly DCRA) has issued important updates regarding the renewal process for businesses. Your 
My DC Business Center Dashboard will display your number of licenses eligible for renewal. DLCP will also send you renewal notifications every 30 days from the day your license becomes eligible for renewal until its expiration date, with a final notice sent seven (7) days before expiration. Please continue to monitor your email inbox for updates specific to your account. In addition:

Sales Tax OTR Compliance Initiative: The Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) will implement compliance initiatives.

Business and Personal Income Tax OTR Compliance Initiative: The Office of Tax and Revenue (OTR) will implement compliance initiatives.

‌Amazon Business’s Small Business Grant Program

Amount: Up to $250,000

Deadline: May 24th

Amazon is set to award over $250,000 this year to eligible U.S.-based small businesses. Grant recipients will also walk away with one year of free Business Prime membership, Amazon devices, and AmazonBasics products.

 

Fund her Grants

Amount: Variable

The Fund here Future grant allocates $100K to support female entrepreneurs. All recipients will receive a year of complimentary business services including tax filing, bookkeeping, payroll, and business structure analysis.

 

Venmo Small Business Grant

Amount: $20,000

Deadline: May 31st

AAPI Strong Restaurant Fund

Amount: Variable

The AAPISTRONG Restaurant Fund, made possible by the Grubhub Community Fund, is designed to benefit Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander-owned restaurants across the country.

 

eBay Up & Running Grant

Amount: $10,500

Deadline: June 7th

Verizon/LISC Small Business Grants

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: June 28th

Galaxy Grants

Amplifier Grant
